Michelle Dujardin works as a self-employed illustrator. After getting her degree in psychology, she decided to get back to drawing and painting, which she’s always had a passion for. She tried to find a new way to combine her interests in art and the human spirit and combined her knowledge on psychology with her creative talent.
Michelle learned about ‘buddhist psychology’ through which she found another way of looking at things, outside the Western scientific view she had learned through her studies. She also learned about taking a spiritual approach to drawing through Frederick Franck. When she applied this approach, all the puzzles pieces came together. They were a perfect fit; her passions for Zen drawing was born! It led to a spontaneous and minimalistic way of drawing which became the foundation for her current artwork. Now, her transparant and elegant illustrations have found their way into the hearts of many nature lovers all over the world.
